If the current UK government is taking a tough line with internet clever dicks then it's the first thing it has done of which I approve.
I feel quite safe hiding in here....
I try and hold myself to the highest moral standards, and always have done. Yet for some reason, aged 11, I bullied a kid for a few days, resulting in an assault. I had no idea what I was doing until after it had happened, and that was the main surprise.
When you're a kid, you do indeed get the wrong end of the stick quite significantly. So it's stupid branding these two as evil monsters who must be eradicated.
Am I the only one who wonders how they must feel? Destroying the futures of two kids is just another tragedy on top of the original one.
Revenge is never a good thing.
Piecing together snippets of "facts" from the Internet I've seen over the years, branding at least one of them as 'evil' would seem to be appropriate in this case.
From what FF said ^^ there, I suppose the easy conclusion is that one was a wrong 'un and the other got carried along.
This is all conjecture on my part though, of course.

[headmastersvoice]Cougar? WTF have you lost your sense of reason? I had you pegged as one of the good ones. Please back pedal. Your whole statement is full of wrong. Logical wrong.[/headmastersvoice]
It's only full of wrong if you take one sentence out of context.
Wasn't saying that it's what I believe. Hence the use of inverted commas and reference to an "easy" conclusion. I have no actual clue about either of them and, frankly, the whole thing being resurrected barely registers on my Giveashitometer. I was merely commenting on the picture that's been built up by various media (and I'm counting both 'official' media and social media here).

Interestingly, from what I've read, the one who was pegged at the time as the "wrong 'un" has kept a low profile while the "good 'un" who was "led astray" is the one who has turned out to be a bit of a bad boy subsquently.
I don't know what, if anything, that tells us other than that I've wasted a few moments posting some second hand half-remembered crap I read on the internet onto a different bit of the internet, and now some other people are wasting a few moments reading it. You're welcome.
Cougar, ah ok, sorry I misunderstood your statement..
Good backpedal.

Always a good basis for building opinions of a person!

Me or you? (-:
Revenge is never a good thing.
Clearly, you haven't spent enough time seething...

Is this experience based on your plot to "off" the Pool Cleaner? ๐
I've seen the pics 4 or 5 times on mates facebook feeds.
Probably a good indicator of who to delete off your friend list.
Grum, indeed. I did delete some, and argued with the others..

Moi...?
Good one Kuco.
Nah I didn't. Haven't seen them from my mates either.
