Hi going to protaras next week for a hol.can anybody tell me what the prices are like for food and beer and the like?also things to see and do in the area?
Food and drink not too bad, about the same as here, but depends on how posh / basic.
Fig tree bay should be quieter than normal.
Snorkelling.
Mountains are ace (there is a mountain bike tour guide I've seen on here)
There are also some nice mountain walks.
The various antiquities, temples and amphitheatres are also pretty awesome.
Thanks jkomo doubt ill be doing any biking but might try and fit a day in.
To into the troodos Lania is a lovely little traditional village
Day trip to Nicosia is worth it
Look at old piles of Greek and roman rocks 🙂

Cracking restaurant halfway between protaras and Grecian park hotel, you can't miss it as it's on its own. Bloody brilliant it is.
