I use Madhur Jeffrey "curry easy". Its a good one.

Anjum for me - best home-made curry I've ever had (and tried a fair few over the years)
thanks i think it was the curry secret!
+ another for Anjum Anand. Got two Indian cooking made easy and love curry (I think?)
Email me (in profile) and I will email a pdf of a recipe I was taught by one of those cooks that comes to your house and teaches you to cook.
Follow it and it really does produce a stunning curry - easily better than pretty much anything else I have eaten.
But this one produces a pretty good (if not entirely authentic) curry too. It is better with plenty of chilies in it 8)
