I have a credit card which has not been used for a couple of months until last week when I purchased some bike parts from an online retailer. Since then the card has been scammed to the tune of £6k and the credit limit raised.
I'm not sure whether the is a coincidence or related, I have reported it and they are now looking into it. I suggest that you check your credit card accounts if you have been using them recently.

Mine was scammed recently also.
They caught it though and put the card on stop.
They [i]still[/i] allowed a $480 payment through despite me saying that all I'd spent recently was UK based (and on Amazon), duh...
