my c drive says it has a gig left but e drive has 35 gig. how can i free space on the c drive? defragmenting didnt really do much.

Move stuff from c to e ?
Delete stuff
use treesize on c to see what's taking up the space.
might be a temp directory you havent cleaned or a beefy app which would be best moved to the other drive. Might be the pagefile.

Remove any unused programs etc
Use E to store all you own personal data etc.

Go to settings for my docs and change its location to e drive.

Move your My Documents to D:. I posted instructions on how to do this in another thread a couple of days ago.
