Just been told by a work colleague that they have tested positive for Covid-19. I've spent three days in close contact with them with no PPE, but despite my details being passed to Serco Test and Trace I've not had a phone call or SMS to ask me to isolate, nor anything from work.

If I hadn't been told personally by my colleague I'd never have known. It's not ****ing surprising that the disease is spreading like it is.

Same here. Someone contacted me directly after +ve test. Did all the notification stuff. I never heard anything - isolated because it seemed responsible and I can work from home.

Shocked but not surprised. Shameful mess this Gov't has made of the response, largely through ideological dogma bordering on corruption.

As above, it's up to us to try to do the right thing.

Started self-isolation here today as my lad has symptoms, hoping the test result comes back sooner than last time.

My 11yr olds "girlfriend" has just been told to self isolate but apparently he doesn't need to.

I got an email but no call, took a call on behalf of my son aged 9 about two days after details logged and they told me twice I didnt need to isolate as my son was a close contact only he needed to isolate. I even told them he was a close contact of Mrs Anagallis who was sat next to me on the sofa. Nope you dont need to isolate!!!

My manager at work had a positive test 2 weeks ago, myself and 2 others had been in close contact with him days before his positive test, also had no contact from track and trace, only by work manager to check details (how close etc).

Not one of the 3 of us have developed symptoms so at least we know what we're doing precaution wise at work is working.

Can finally go for a run this weekend now!

Hmm. The official line is that unless I develop symptoms I come to work as normal, backed up by the union.
