Courier to collect furniture from a a seller and deliver it to me...
Anyone used one?
There's a sofa on fleabay for the right price, that matches the one I bought earlier in the year (cat pee'd on the last one), but the sellers based quite a distance away from me.
Wondering if it would be worthwhile paying a courier to collect (it will come to pieces), would need wrapping to protect it, and then deliver it to us?
talk to a local removal firm (or auction house) - they often move individual furniture pieces around for people and probably won't need it wrapped etc. You just wait until they have a van in the area where you want pickup. depends how quickly the seller wants shot.
