Spent a night or two there. Town thronged with tourists in day, quiet at night. Quite pleasant but a bit dull.

There are many other towns and cities I'd rather visit in Andalucia.

Didn't do any riding, sorry.

i really liked the place. fantastic fino and tapas.

joyriders do some riding in the area. hardly high alpine quality but adequate for a day out.

It's a family holiday so a day or 2 riding will probably be likely .

What other cities would you recommend ...?

Seville, Cadiz, Jerez, Malaga, Granada.

But hang on, did you mean Iznajar rather than Cordoba city? If so please ignore me, never been there.

Erm... it's rather brilliant actually.

Loadsa riding available, beautiful old town and most excellent locals, avoid tourists during 1-5pm and you'll have a lovely time. Find a simple tapas restaurant and make it yours..

Is that easter weekend ? It's possible that I may have some free time around then but it's not possible to commit..

TBH, due to 'stuff' I'm probably not the best person to rely on for Dartmoor guiding until June onwards. After that it will be business as usual

Spent a week there recently for the Andalucia Bike Race.
Loads of brilliant riding, road or MTB.

Nice city too, interesting and plenty to see... just brush up on your Spanish as there isn't much English spoken.

There's a bit of riding in the hills near Ruta and Las Laganillas. Further into the Subbettica National park there's the gorge at Zuherous. A word of warning about the maps in Spain are really poor so it would be difficult to find the trails from a map.

There's a few routes here on Wikiloc, if you've got a GPS that is.
