Following on from the Overtime and 'professional days' post I have dug out my contract of employment that states "38hrs per week minimum" But this contract is about 9 years old and states my salary at that time, since then I have had some not many pay increases so is this contract still valid? I have never been given one to supercede the original.

yes only the pay has changed, from what you have said.
