We will be in touch
I recently lost my compact digital camera and, as its January sales time, i thought it about time i got a new one. Thing is there are so flippin many out there. Can anyone recommend one? Nothing that involves to much faff and must have a good zoom on it..
Cheers
Lumix TZ30. These are a few examples that I've taken recently, the two of the Shard were hand held, so there's a little bit of camera shake, as they were taken from Greenwich. Great little camera, very compact, and the 20x zoom is very handy.

Anymore suggestion below £200 anybody ?
Nikon p310 - a decent, but not a massive zoom. I've got the p300 and reckon it's pretty decent.
I'm really happy with my Canon Sx230. So the latest Sx260 with a longer zoom should as good. Well under £200. Nice small camera which means I do take it out more
Took delivery of one of these for a handy carry around snappy compact for me to use on the bike and the wife and kids to use for snaps.

Not had a chance to play with it properly but the price it seems pretty good, simple though so will be a snapshot camera. Wifi feature is pretty cool.

I really like my Panasonic Lumix TZ5 but its got a scratched lens (my fault) and i couldn't justify 200+ quid for the TZ30 given how much i actually use it so i ordered a Fuji F600EXR which seems to have similar features. i can post up if its any good? (if its not its getting returned!)

If you're not fussed about GPS this is crazy cheap

They seem to get good reviews but require some fiddling to get the best shots.
