I was messing about videoing some stuff at innerleithen yesterday with my Panasonic TZ7, which usually does very nice video... But I've just checked the footage and most of what I filmed under the trees has come out incredibly grainy. I'm not talking about total darkness here, just everyday low-ish light, 4pm on a sunny day. So, that's not too good. I've been thinking about replacing the camera anyway, just wondering if anyone can recommend a tough-ish digital compact that'll cope better with that as it's one of the main jobs I'll use it for... Budget is, oh, up to £200. Huge zoom not needed but I'd not want to go below 4x. Good pocketability and general durability important too.

I was planning an IXUS 130 but some reviews say low light behavior's not great. That was on stills but I guess the same may apply for video.

Cheers

And I thought that this was going to be a thread about roll-your-own erotica!
