I'm in need of a new gazebo/shelter for using at 12h and 24h races this year and quite like the looks of the Coleman Event Shelter. They seem to be fairly popular in the pits/camping areas at loads of races.

Go Outdoor are currently running an offer on the 14'x14' Pro model that includes a sunwall and a sunwall door for £165. It seems like a fairly good price for one to me.

Has anyone been using one?
Are they any good?

We've been using one for 24s for a few years. They're great.

They are really good...but not very windproof! Ours got ripped away by a strong gust and bent/ripped so only fit for the bin. First time we used it as well.

Yes, v good. Been using one for 3 years now. It leaked on it's first outing, but I don't think they come proofed. Since proofed it with a spray on tent waterproofing spray (forget which one) and it's been good since. Easily better in the wind compared to the cheapo square ones I used to have.

I've had the largest size and used it for the last three summers. Absolutely brilliant and worth every penny.

I even had a man in Germany try to buy it off me last year, saying I could 'save time packing it up again, and just leave it with [him] for however much I paid in the first place'.

Apparently, he'd never seen anything like it.

Supplied pegs or a bit meh. Get some good ones and guy it up properly and it will with stand some good old gusts.
