Are they any good & reasonably priced? Or is their any other national company that does similar work?

Our neighbour admitted to us his door had swung open and dented the missus car. It's a definite dent on the wheel arch, not a the usual carpark love nudge.
I have a friend who does spraying/touch-up and such but he's not conveniently close and it sounds like a setup if I tell the neighbour my m8's gunna do it & here's the bill..

PS: Have no interest in taking this to the insurance company...

Have used them for Alloy wheels. Not that cheap, but do a good job. A single dent would be £100 ish, £50 paint mix fee, plus about £50 / panel / dent.

Chipsaway can be brilliant.

Same as any other franchise, they are only as good as the person that runs them.

The training is great, but if the franchisee ignores it and does their own thing etc then that can do a bad job.

The one near me is fantastic and I use them a lot for my customers cars, but I've seen others that are not quite so skilled.

Stourbridge ways...

Cheers for the comments above, though it seemingly a bit of a lottery unless I can find reviews of our local franchise.

Ah, near to me then, I'll text him and ask if it's in his 'area'. (he does mine at work in Wolves) If so, I'll DM you his details if you want them? Sound guy, rides at Cannock quite often.

Canne hurt, I have contacted our the "chips away" site for free quote, but I doubt that'll matter (unless he definitely cover this area - "Kinver" for clarification )

I can recommend a bodyshop in stourbridge I used to work for called Douglas motors, or if you want to go the mobile route have a look at Autorestore

Dent's away type fixes won't work on a wheel arch, chips away fixes are usually worse.
Get the job done properly or don't worry about it & call it a battle scar.

I was always skeptical about these things til they did my dad's focus. I can see where the repair is, but then I know where the damage was. So results can be excellent- but then I'm sure you could find someone else who's had a bad job done, and a bad repair looks worse than just leaving it alone- it's bad twice instead of just bad once.

Poor job then.

Try and find a paintless dent removal company to use. If you get a decent one of them to do a repair, it'll be near perfect.
I had a dent reap aired in my car last year by a PDR guy and it was perfect afterwards, only cost £75 as well!

I had a 12 inch dent /graze removed from the wing of my old Metallic silver Honda S2000.
Flawless ..... you couldn't see where the repair had been done.
I paid £175 for the work but as part of that they went around the whole car and corrected some stone chips on the front and a few other flaws in the paint such as parking dings on the doors.

well worth doing BUT they are a franchise so each individual will be of a different quality.
