Can anyone remember a book about life as seen through what happened beneath an old tree? An oak, I think. Was a British book I am sure, probably from the earlier part of the 20th century, I think.

The whole book was a series of chapters about events that happened in/around the tree.

Can't remember the name of the book or the author!

Vague, I know, but there you go...!

There's a new Harry Potter book out flashy. I thought you'd be busy reading that tbh. 🙂

The Giving Tree is about a boy and a trees journey through life. Very sad as well!

I think I know the one you mean, and the author was "BB". Can't remember the title though - something like Lord of the Forest?
