😕 You shop around and find some 'cheap' car insurance and then go into a mini rant about "car insurance rip off" and "why how do they get away with it".

So how does that work then ? ...... as far as I can work out no one has ripped you off at all.

You'll never make a headline writer jon1973 - too many words. You need a short but striking headline 💡

it's midnight where I am, goodnight mate. Sweet dreams. I'll leave you to worry about other people's insurance premiums.

midnight on a friday? not going to sleep time in my book 😉

anyway.

I'm sure you're all aware that the various comparison sites (except money supermarket, which has its own issues, allegedly) are all owned by the various insurance companies anyway. Don't just try one comparison site, try a few & compare the same policy from the same insurer across the different comparison sites & see what you get...

How am I 'worried about other people's insurance premiums' ? I'm slightly bemused how someone, after shopping around, gets a right result, and then goes into a mini-rant about being 'ripped off'. So I just asked the question.......how does that work ?

cos I'm sitting here in a hotel with a bottle of Brandy and a nice cigar, looking forward to booking in to a cottage tomorrow afternoon for the next two weeks in the Loire Valley. Don't let me stop you getting involved in trivia though.

Also be happy with your quote, i'm paying over £1300 for the privilege of being young.

When it comes to insurance rip offs, the renewal price is not the worst by a long shot! Bastards.

be careful with them, twice I've bought insurance through them and the policy 'delivered' wasn't what the policy I'd asked for on the phone. The first time it cost us dearly as they removed our NCD protection to get the price down to where we wanted but didn't tell us and only after a Police car ran the misses off the road on a blind bend on the wrong side of the road was when we found out the NCD protection had been removed.
