I'm sick of using my phone as an alarm. Ideally I'd like a cheapish little radio with good clear signal and an alarm function (obviously). doesn't have to be flash.

you will be better placed to get a DAB one, otherwise you will just need to replace it in a few years anyway when they switch analogue off. SOny ones are pretty good IME
