Free with a none hacked iphone?

you are new to this
go to the app store and search using the term "web cam"
miniwebcam is a free app which seems to give you what you need - sure there are others to choose from

Thanks for that grievoustim, will go and have a look.
Its telling me to update to 4.2 to run this app, last time I updated firmware on an item, I managed to kill it 😉
