There has been a 100mm diameter hole drilled out of a down pipe at work to use as a rodding point, the folk who did this wrapped duct tape around it. I need to source a proper bung/cover for the hole but don’t know what I’m looking for, it can’t protrude too far into the pipe.... Any pointers please

Google "Strap on Boss"

Make sure that everyone in the office can see your screen so that they can see how clever and knowledgeable about such things you are.

Let us know how you get on. You might get a promotion or something from HR

Get a room you two!

Ask for a double entendre and Perchy will give you one!

You've completely misinterpreted my entirely serious advice.

Dirty boy! 🙂

Is confused? Pegging is joinery. We're talking plumbing here.

Ask for a double entendre

Thats seriously raising the game for the OP.  Same website? Asking for a friend,

I confirm Perchy is right. I used a strap-on boss for just this purpose after being recommended one by a plumber friend.
