I am putting a very small shed (3x4) at the side of our patio. I can't decide if I should stand it on pressure treated timber, or if I should put some more paving slabs down. The slabs are more work of course.

As long as its flat it should be ok, if you're going to paint it, do it before bolting it together, makes it look much neater,
I put this up last week, beach hut stylee..

I would stand the legs on something if its going onto the grass. Just a small slab under each foot should be enough.

But put some slabs/path down in front of the entrance.

You can just lay paving slabs on earth for a shed - no need for hardcore etc, mine were just laid on the lawn and it's been fine for years.

The trick is to get air under it to stop it rotting.
Timber definately easiest. Make sure you treat underside of shed before building.

you'll need the pressure treated timber whether you use slabs or not.

Our beach hut is on some 'sacrificial' timbers;
