Must admit, I do like watching abit on TV, watching in person..would it be like F1 though? i.e. limited views, crowded, bad food etc. Actually Im used to bad food (karting tracks) 😆 8)

Maybe im not answering this from the "right side of the fence" but ive worked for BTCC teams for the past 20 odd years and I would say if you havent attended a meeting then go but I now much prefer to watch it on tv. Donington will be a nightmare getting in and out if you dont plan it right.

Im going up on Saturday morning to help out my driver from last year Jonny Adam but will be up Cannock on Sunday and watching the race on Sky+ in the evening.

Let me know if your there on Saturday and I will show you around.

I'm off to Oulton Park in a couple of weeks, better circuit for viewing IMO. Wherever you go it's crowded(ish), bad food, expensive beer etc, so from that POV it doesn't matter which circuit you go to!

the best viewing spots at donington are currently being built on (the inside of the circuit overlooking the Craner Curves.

i'd go with Woody's suggestion and head to Oulton at the end of the month, and watch Donny on ITV4 on sunday.

then park yourself somewhere top of Clayhill or Knickerbrook to get the best view. (tho i dunno about the best view as a speccie, as i'm normally the otherside of the fence.)

Clayhill would have been my suggestion too - you can see about half the circuit from there :-). There'll probably be a big screen at the top of the bank too if you want to watch TV at the same time!

It was the first post i was given when i started flagging. Simply because you can see so much, it makes it easy to learn the Blue Flag.
