Can do, especially if it shifts position mid bike ride. As for where do you put it, normally it just goes whichever side it likes, for cycling I tend to point it skyward initially then let it settle.

1. Strength - everything is really heavy when you have (much) less!!
2. "Robustness" - you bounce off things without it hurting quite so much. Oh - and you don't bruise anywhere near as much!!
err - that's about it. Sounds like a poor deal to me!!

One of the most uncomforable things was starting a rowing race with one of your boys not quite adjusted right.
Basically, you can feel it being squashed by your legs at the end of each stroke because there's no way to adjust once the race has started without actually stopping (which is basically impossible in anything other than a single scull). If it happens, you know that you've got at least 6/20 minutes of discomfort ahead before you even consider the pain from the race itself 😯

as for where one puts it, to be fair mine somehow finds a cubbyhole deep inside me on cold rides and it's dashed difficult finding and extracting the fella later on. so no, it doesn't get in the way much

It's not really between your legs unless you're sat down though is it? Stood up it's protruding forwards, sat down it can get a bit uncomfy and there's nothing worse than having to avoid toilet bowl contact!
