I've got a fairly old Worcester Bosch 230 which behaves most of the time but over the past couple of days the hot water has cooled to warm, with the hot tap on full I can still happily hold my hand under which I couldn't before.
Heating still seems to be OK, any ideas for something I can look at before I get heating service out?
I've changed the temp dial on the front but that didn't appear to do anything.

google says its a combi.

are you in a hard water area ?

your probably a victim of scaled up mixer/heatexchanger/flow sensor. .......its a few years old alright - they stopped making them in 1997 apparently.

IARENOTAHEATINGENGINEER - but you probably want one to look at your issue.

If it's suddenly gone cool then I'd guess at a duff thermostat. Limescale tends to cause the performance to deteriorate over time eg it starts short cycling (going hot then cold repeatedly in showers) as the heat exchanger slowly blocks up.
