We will be in touch
on a recent trip i was unable to use my blackberry pearl 8120
it worked fine in america and quickly found a signal however in costa rica it could not find a signal and i could not use it even though it has international roaming
the others on the trip (americans, canadians, danish) could not get their phones to work either
i believe it is a quad band phone so is there something i should have done in the phones memory to get it to work?
thanks
Might be a CDMA network in Costa Rica rather than GPRS
I don't think there's any 3G network in Costa Rica & the 2G uses TDMA
all strictly controlled by the government - last I heard you needed to be 'of the right character' [whatever that means] to get a mobile
