MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Biker girl needs housemate for very homely flat in Leith/Newhaven (beautifully restored).
I love my home because it's opposite the bike path, has spare room for bikes, is 1 min to spinning gym and close to best bike shop ever. And Indian takeaway is 30 seconds from front door.

Katie - try getting in touch with the Hervelo girls. They might know someone who is on the lookout for a room. http://www.hervelo.co.uk/page2.html
druidh just said ..dont take any body off here. 😆
Have anyone ever seen that film of frogs mating in a pond? Basically there's this single female frog and she gets mobbed by all these adolescent frogs and there is much thrashig around and stuff. It's all a bit unnerving.
So what bike have you got?
(well someone had to ask)
Shall I go round and check the...erm...room out?
Good luck Katie. Dunno if this the right place though!

Jamie...did you miss the Westway thread or were you ignoring me? 😛
I've got a mate that might be interested...
'He is immortal. Born in the Highlands of Scotland four hundred years ago, he is not alone. There are others like him - some good, some evil. For centuries, he has battled the forces of darkness, with Holy Ground his only refuge. He cannot die, unless you take his head, and with it, his power. In the end, there can be only one. He is Duncan MacLeod, the Highlander.'
Thanks Druidh, will try the Hervelo girls. Was hoping for a bit more commonsense from all the frogs on here 🙂

Some hope.
But remember - one of them might be a prince.
Now then - about this "best bike shop ever....."
Should say no bikes no let ... LOL!
Ask them for the specs of their bike.
Druidh - You'll never know until you give me a kiss....
erc has a [s]huge membership[/s] lot of members too.
Awarded "best bike shop ever" when I heard about the coffee and muffins. Still awaiting evidence though.
I guess I have to buy a bike first.
@40mpg - spare room is full of hardtails - Soda is the favourite.
If Carlsberg made house-shares...
She'd out-drink you too.....
ribbet!
Pretty sure she'd eat Sharks for brekkie too! 🙂
Jamie...did you miss the Westway thread or were you ignoring me?
What thread is that? On iPhone only at the mo, so not as omnipresent as usual* 😉
*Plus the forum has gone up its own arse a bit of late, so not been checking it as often.

Stop s****ing at the back.
I'd love to live there 🙁 (Edinburgh). Good luck OP- male STW"ers tend to be painfully shy and quiet in the flesh so you'd be ok 😀
is it me of did the world become a brighter place when this thread appeared?
I've been toying with the idea of a flat share, but you are at the other side of town from where i live/want to live. Not sure other potential housemates would be interested in sharing with me, my four bikes and shoe collection 🙄
TBH if I was ever to flat/house share it'd have to be a friend or friend of a friend or a Chinese/foreign exchange student (No nothing smutty- just a trust issue).
Have you thought about that? A Chinese uni student? My experiences of them are clean and quiet/courteous.
Crikey 😯 - considering ditching wife, child, dogs and moving across town with my bikes. Especially if there's muffins. Actually closer to work too!
Hmm wonder if I can commute to Bristol from Edinburgh...
@hora - cheers for the suggestion. Thought STW would be a better bet than gumtree randoms, but perhaps not!
@dirtygirlonabike - give me a shout if you ever consider becoming a northern gal. 15 mins down the bike path to town. Bikes & shoe collections catered for.
