Wicked!
It's like a bmx for grown ups!
😉
yyyyeeeeeeeeeeessssssss come on
I do have a Sturmey Archer 8spd with disk to go on the back, once built up and I've figured out chain tensioning.
Klunkers the movie has a lot to answer for...
that's several kinds of awesome 🙂
😥 that is a travesty
wow, perfect.
I like it 😆
@lyons - if by the fact it's a canondale, yeah, fair enough I'd have used something else had I had it.
But, that bike had been sitting in bro-in-law's mum's garage for over six years unridden. When he gave it up (he's in the US now and a lifestyle change etc) I rescued it and used the group set on one bike, servicing it as I went. Then put together this bike, but in doing so haven't abused the frame at all, it'll build up to a 'proper' bike some time in the future. And like this it'll get ridden most weekends with luck!
Sick ride dude. 8)
that looks ****ing auhsum 😀
thats the best bike i have seen today.
I'm wondering.....was it Cameo who once sang the words, "Strange,....but I like it!"...?
If so, may I echo those words...once more....with feeling?
I want one!
I was jesting. it looks , um interesting
like it.custom bike.
heh, no worries. not my first choice of frame for this for sure. And mid build it had a girle saddle on it with risers. Looked excellent... Now, well, comments say it all... including yours ;o)
ice cold
oh sweet jesus.
That is sick!
Just rake the head angle out by about 30 degrees more, extend the fork legs by about 3 feet, and fit a 20" front wheel, then it'll be even more perfect!
Then get Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper to ride it across America and film it... 😉
Where did you get the saddle?! Can you buy them?!
*wants*
Got mine from here which is in Aus (as am I). But have a search for banana seat, I'm sure there's someone local who will have one... Sometimes on ebay too.
Was tempted by a full height sissy bar and back rest, but bike had to be something that could be ridden without too much crazy.
that is a heck of a lot better looking than any of the manufactured cruisers that you see round and about..
simple clean light function over form.. very much in the ethos of the original chopped motorcycles..
very slick
wheely-tastic!
that's great! no eye bleach reqiured here
Got any pics of it in use? I'm interested to see how it looks with a human on it.
Cheers all. One wonders about one's creations and whether others will see the beauty...
@Dorset, not yet completed last night, and today has been a family day - need to get a few pics done for sure.
And that green beast is mad. Not sure I'd want to pedal that rear wheel though, the 2.4's on mine are bad enough!
Rad to the power of sick 8)
Lionheart, what tyres for.....well.....not sure what you'd do on that!
I'd really like a shot on that, but I'd probably be giggling too much to get anywhere.
Easy rider!
it's an abomination
"Lionheart, what tyres for.....well.....not sure what you'd do on that!"
John Tomac would race downnhill on it.
I told you not to reheat that chicken.
