Looking for a new compact digital camera, what is seen as the best option under £100?

£100 wont get you alot, but if you can stretch to £110ish, the Fuji F60FD is a great little camera. Alternatively, most of the Canon Ixus range are worth a look up from the Ixus 80 upwards.

just got a Panasonic Lumix fs62 for £118 after much research.
and then found this endorsement afterwards 🙂

Verdict
With the kind of build quality, performance and image quality usually associated with cameras costing twice the price, the Panasonic Lumix FS62 represents possibly the best value for money of any current compact camera. A genuine bargain.

ok being a bit tight at £100. Like the look of the Lumix FS7 or 8 £120 'ish
