missus wants to go camping with me? I've got an alpkit jobbie, but they don't appear to be doing them right at this time?

Can anyone recommend something half decent and thickish, weight and small pack size isn't a consideration.

Thinking £40 tops?

There have been threads, including one of mine on this very subject. Someone recommended one from Amazon for around £20-ish, which will probably be my final choice; it's for a festival, not back-packing.
I'll see if I can find it in a sec.
Even cheaper:

Just in case you don't know, it is important to undo the valve every morning! Leaving them anywhere warm, especially in the sun, causes the outer to delaminate from the self inflating foam core, causing massive blisters on the surface and rendering them useless.

Just saying' like.
