Trainspotting or The Big Lebowski
The Graduate
Gladiator - score
Donnie Darko - soundtrack and score
The Big Lebowski ??
I hate the 'kin Eagles 😀
My 3 fave film soundtracks:
Paris, Texas
Southern Comfort
Dead Man
(1st 2, Ry Cooder sliding; 3rd, Neil Young, er Neil Younging. Glorious)
+1 for The Mission, and I'll raise you Cinema Paradiso.
In fact, anything by Ennio Morricone really...
'Hanna' is damn good (Chemical Brothers)
anything by Morricone, but especially Once upon a time in the west.
Cal, mark knopfler again.
Last Action Hero has AC/DC so that's cool, Maximum Overdrive too.
Withnail and I
Paris, Texas
Flash Gordon
Once upon a time in the west.
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me - A belter from Angelo Badalamenti and David Lynch
Anything by Hans Zimmer.
Brokeback Mountain is exceptional (yes, really!). My other faves have already been mentioned, notably Moon.
3 pages in and no "The Harder they Come"?
Point Break, the Crow, Bill and teds excellent Adventure, Highlander,
Crossroads awful film but with Steve Vai and Ry Cooder doing the soundtrack bearable.
Platoon or Donnie Darko

Take a look at the listings. Great soundtrack.
The shining
Don't play it too late.
Many already mentioned. Plus ...... Cabaret!
Got to be Tank Girl or Natural Born Killers.
Natural Born Killers.
IIRC, that has possibly the best use of music in any film ever. The scene where Harrelson grabs a shotgun and goes slow-mo batshit, and Rage Against The Machine kicks in at just the right spot, is cinematic genius. I think I actually shouted "YES!" in the middle of the cinema.
Last of the Mohicans
Scott Pilgrim.
Tron Legacy.
This is one ...
Hi fidelity has some top tunes inc belle and Sebastian and the beta band to name but a few.
As for opening songs I really like real steel's opener "all my days"
Also goodfellas has quite a good score
Can't believe quadrophenia hasn't had a mentoion yet.
i vote for Drive and Good Will Hunting 🙂
My first thought was bom ba bom bom Tron, but great call on Donnie Darko, it creates such a poignant atmosphere, almost surreal.
Rocky 2
Trainspotting
Rocky 2 is incorrect. Rocky 4 is the answer.
Gladiator is special stuff from start to end too.
Easy Rider.
Toy Story 1 & 2
Up
Trainspotting
A Life Less Ordinary
Fight Club
Pulp Fiction
Death Proof
Austin Powers isn't bad if you like that kinda thing
Narc
Iron Man, if you want an AC/DC best of
Jackie Brown
Out of Sight
Snatch is pretty good
All good 🙂
Jungle Book! 😀
Philip Glass - Candyman
The Dust Brothers - Fight Club
Wot no Vampyros Lesbos?
Also acquired taste but the soundtrack to Profundo Rosso.
Tron legacy.
