So, we've all shaken the sand out of our sandals and some of us have thrown our old beach umbrellas in the bin because they did not stand up to the wind.

So for those of you whose umbrellas resisted, what is the secret? A good anchor? A flexible frame? Expensive? Cheap?

I've always fancied one of the beach shelters from decathlon. They always appear more useful than the umbrellas.

^^^. Yep I have that same beach tent and its spot on for light to moderate breeziness. Big enough to wedge a sleeping 1yr old in a pram into whilst sleeping too.

Can't go wrong for £12.....

12 quid looks good

Seems to me it'd be better if umbrellas were made with more resilient design lime trees rather than plain material
