After a minute watching a program on Iplayer , Itv , Channel 4 the screen goes green (not the entire monitor)
Any ideas?

I've had similar but not identical problems on my mac with iplayer, screen usually goes all blocky. I can fix it with a refresh or in an extreme case by restarting my mac and resetting the router. Might be worth checking all your drivers are up to date, especially graphics ones as this is likely where the problem lies. With this in mind have you updated or changed anything on your pc/mac recently? If so you could try rolling back to the previous settings to see if that fixes the problem.
Flash player update needed?
Try disabling hardware acceleration, right click on the video > uncheck hardware acceleration.
Not sure if that is a temp fix or a permanent fix (assuming it works).
Make sure video card drivers are up to date as well.
