Just showing an interview with van Niekirk, who is clearly very emotional.
Why does that interviewer not just **** off? And why does he have to keep putting his hands on / around the athletes?

Maybe he actually knows him and had a good rapport with him.

He does it to (almost) everyone! (Though not Makwala - presumably keeping a good noro-virus distance away)
