A lorry spilled pig flesh across a country lane as it followed a sat-nav diversion.
The lorry shed its load in Honiton, Devon, early on Thursday morning when it negotiated a hill.
Police said the driver used the sat-nav system following the closure of the A30.
Inspector Matt Helm said the steepness of Lower Marlpits Hill caused the lorry's load to shift and rip the vehicle's back doors off.

bit of a rasher decision, that'll be a swine to clear up
Road hog?
Get a fire lit and get a massive Hog Roast going
Ham fisted driver, hope he has a good excuse to save his bacon...
Or as Mrs Doyle said..
"Gammon, Gammon Gammon"
Shame to see it all loin in the road like that
that'll be a swine to clear up
They'd better get to it then! Chop chop!
was the steepness of the hill not indicated on the approach to it?
Or do we just explain it as a poor sign situation?
poor sign situation?
Well played! 😀
Nowhere near the South Hams that, would've gone down well there.
I bet the driver got the trotters when he looked in his mirrors.
The driver will be facing a long sty inside after he's prosicutto'd
To quote an elderly lady standing at a bus stop in Liverpool in 1992...
"...do you smell bacon, officer?"
poor sign situation?
😆
That'll be a pig to clean up and leave a sow'er taste for the driver.
Suspect there'll be no charges and he'll be told to trotter long.
Looks like an offal mess.
Was he following his Garmon satnav then?
To all the dads of little ones out there, how much do you wish that was peppa pig and the rest of her family?
poor sign situation?
You win, I'll close the thread now.
"rip it's back doors off"
Did anyone else pucker up ?
