I have a nice, topical and silly pic I wanted to use as my profile avatar.
Whenever I select and upload one, I seem to get redirected to a blank page.
Is this an STW injoke about not taking yourself seriously? Or do I have to "Invent mountain biking" or something to earn one?

I never understand why some user's names can't be clicked-on [eg jam bo], yet, if I paste the name onto the standard
http://singletrackworld.com/members/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/
string it still pulls up the profile.
