It's my partner's birthday shortly and a fairly significant one at that. We're also about to buy a house together so thought I'd buy her some art - either a sculpture or painting.

She is a proper maths geek and a pure mathematician. Accordingly I would like to get some mathematics derived art - something like a mobious strip or Klein bottle.

Problem being my google-fu is failing me. So any suggestions around artists to check out?

Random fact, Clifford Stoll (a name well known to anyone with an interest in hacking / computer security) now makes Klein bottles.

How about an Escher print?
or for purity of line and real art, look at Ian Mitchell's work.

Build a Raspberry Pi robot which can roll around the floor painting it's own AI-generated paintings?

I love the Klein bottles, and I also love Escher, so speaking personally I'd be perfectly happy with either of them.
There's also Mandelbrot sets, but frankly having a fractal print would drive me nuts if I had to live with it on the wall!
