Yes...

...or No! depends on the location of the bush.

Plenty ready to go near Belper in Derbyshire.

Not here yet. Had a few in Devon last week while on holiday.

We call them Brambles where I live.

Load down here in the south, but it is going to depend on your location and lcoal variaties. Just go and look.

Brambles are the bush but surely blackberries are always blackberries or do you call them brambleberries? We will go out and look but I didn't fancy a family outing into the wilds with no chance of success. Thanks

Saw my first pickers on my commute in and out of Nottingham yesterday.

Seems early, but will check the off track spot I stumbled across last year. If I get home with purple lips and pips in my teeth, we're good to go.

Very slim pickings in West Yorkshire.
A lot of local bilberries/wimberries aren't ready yet
My missus reckons it's because it has been so dry recently

Plenty in Hampshire, some that are on the offside of the bushes (no or not much sun) are sour but the sunside they're just about eatable. Great for crumble if you add loads of sugar...

I've been keeping an eye out as I mossed them last year.

There's some whoppers near me but still a bit sharp.
