How ironic that the Archbishop of Canteburry should give a sermon warning of the dangers of a 'hero led culture'.

I liked the instruction not to start, in the context of the "undeserving poor", to start believing in things that don't exist.
I think he's just taking the piss and seeing how long it takes for someone to call him on it.

Fair enough. Better to follow a code of principles and ethics than a charismatic unprincipled and unethical leader, no? Whether you require divinity to assist with that is a matter of choice for most of us, a necessity for some.
