After seeing another TV thread on here it occurred to me that I haven't had the means of watching TV for 3 years now.

Went from having a full Sky package to just watching occasional movies via Netflix/Lovefilm. The only thing I miss is the Discovery Channel and similar.

I didn't ever think I watched much TV, but my evenings definitely feel much longer and full without one, which is a good thing I think!

Anyone got an empty space where a telly would normally sit?

Not since Xmas, trails have too good. My tv is still in its box but do miss mythbusters/deadliest catch & the history channel.

Spent three years without one and didn't miss it. Have one now but only because the people I live with like it, I very rarely watch it.
.
The TV licence people will write to you constantly no matter how many times you tell them you don't have one. I've not noticed the DVLA hasseling people who haven't got a car.

our tv isn't connected to an aerial, we only use it for DVD's, and lovefilm.

how do people find the time to watch hours of telly?

Stopped watching TV when I went to uni. Don't miss it, although I watch the tour (and a few other races) on my laptop, and several TV series.

Can't stand advert breaks now.

People who don't watch telly must get very bored because they're always thinking up new ways to tell you they don't do it and how awesome this makes them ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

i'll watch an episode of the west wing, or 24, every now and then, not 4 hours a day...

these threads always end up descending into

Does watching

a) DVD's
b) Netflicks/love film
c) iPlayer/ITV4 player
d) You tube

on either a Television, laptop, tablet/phone or pc monitor count as 'watching the telly'.

so I'm out.

I would love to ditch Sky but I do quite enjoy the Discovery channel. My three girls now only watch FTA and Comedy Central so we're getting there.

Um maybe they do that instead of watching dvd's and lovefilm, which you do on a tv. I would class that under the 'watching tv' bracket.

I only watch tv at work as it passes the time. Never watch it at home as it reminds me of being at work too much ๐Ÿ˜† I just dont enjoy watching it tbh, would rather read or browse tinternet. I do download tv shows i want to watch though. Breaking Bad etc.

Watching the Internet for 'do you watch tv' threads on forums. That and intelligent stuff.

Watching the Internet for 'do you way h tv' threads

A so far fruitless search, I suspect?

I don't watch much, but it's on a lot, if not most of the time at home (if that makes sense).

I like watching TV but don't seem to be able to find anything interesting, apart from sport. I think I've turned into my Dad.
