Seems to do everything I need. Anything I should look out for?

Anyone owned one?

Turning circle.

I know a gardener who's got one for work. Reckons it's great for work, specifically for towing a trailer with machinery etc. But he said it had the worst turning circle of any vehicle he'd ever driven (and that's a long list).

Never, ever go into a multi-storey car park with it.

There is also the ranger/l200/nivara/hilux to look at, all of which are probably better.

the ranger/l200/nivara/hilux The ones that are available are too expensive.

This is just a cheap run around for bike, kayak, towing duties.

Not a sports car but there is still room for something extra on the drive. Watch this space

What do you call too expensive? as I just happen to have a Ranger Thunder on a 54 plate, VAT paid for sale!
