specifically regarding studying via Open University, the missus is disabled, and in receipt of DLA, income support, Housing benefit, etc etc.
She is contemplating doing an English degree.
OU say that we are eligible for finance for the course fees in full.
Will Income Support/Housing Benefit/Carers Allowance class this as income, and reduce our entitlement?
(the fees will be paid direct to OU)
The OU say definitely not, but I would like the advise of any STW benefits advisors. (I spk to a guy on here before who was a benefits advisor before)
Been trying to get through to my local Welfare Rights for a week now....
