Car - potential big problem (well tiny problem, clutch release bearing, just lots of garage hours to get to it)

Weather - crap and CBA with riding in the rain

Missus - in London so no company

Car - Air Mass Sensor has gone so it's running like a bag of shit

Raining here too - but I'm out riding tomorrow and Monday

Missus - is at work so just doing usual household stuff

So all in all quite bored.

Can't watch the Giro as my 15month old son insists on whacking the screen with his building blocks, can't decide whether to mount the telly or the sprog on the wall!

nope

Slept in
Serviced bike ready for Exmoor
Bought some work trousers
Went to the pub with mate to discuss the Exmoor rides and logistics
Back at home drinking coffee in the dry
Eurovision song contest on later

Really not much to complain about

Not really but it's not fantastic. I'd rather be out riding even if it is pissing it down. I'm bored of playing XBOX games too.

At the moment I'm downloading some 3D ray tracing software, I used to really enjoy that sort of stuff, see if the spark is still there.

Go out and get mucky! Even if the ride is crap the hot shower/bath and cup of tea after will be worth it.

Daughter ill and can't sleep.
My back aches and I head feels funny, might be getting whatever she's got.
Still wish I could go for a ride in the rain. Would be a novelty.

Working when it's raining, that's the right way round.

Done a good mileage, on the bike, in the dry this week.

Car in bits, but bits on order.

Not bad at all.

+1 for getting out and getting muddy 😆

After the Gorrick Enduro I no longer have any enthusiasm at all to get out in the rain, I used to love it but now just cant face the trudge to Swinley an back on the road, only to manage about n hours riding before turning back and slogging the 8 miles back.

I blew the engine up on my car last weekend.
I have a stinking cold.
Bank transfer cock up means no money to get car fixed as planned.
Big Bike Bash flyers were delivered while no-one was at home so can't be picked up until Tuesday.
Tumble dryer just started squealing and smoking.

Have a cold, then crashed carbon bike, still have whiplash so icing neck and back and can't ride otherwise get too dizzy. Won't be ready for the sportive and I've ****ing paid.

House is a tip and need to MTFU and clean up.

Beats being in Afghanistan I guess.

Might just add some games to my laptop...

good day. Swotting up on a book this morning. Marzocchi tool arrived this morning ( thus fitting into the letterbox ) Just finished an oil change which means I can ride my beloved moto for the first time in a while. Add to this i've changed the oil height so it should work even better now. Listening to an madchester cd.Just rebuilt my helmet spot light too after building up a new battery pack, thus enabling night rides where I can see spookies. Out for a ride later.Nice and mild outside too. All good!

Just got back from Gisburn Forest. Our day paled next to a guy just in front of us who'd just had a spill off the Northshore and broke his leg.

We stayed with him whilst others got help, which involved the air ambulance. Eep.

It's of the chunky log variety, near the end of the trail. Slippery than greased squirrel sh1t when it's wet.

Fantastic morning, my new bars and seatpost arrived, got the boyf out of bed to help me fit them and ooh looks so good 😀
Didnt do ride as planned cos hes injured so instead we braved the masses and went to shops to look at bivvy tents, ordered new lenses for my sunnies, went to posh cafe for pasta dinner then drove scenic route home stuffed my face with thorntons choccies and now im on here whilst texting and trying to persuade someone to ride in the mud and rain with me tomorrow.

Sorry apart from the busy shop full of 'nonnies' not at all a crap day 🙂

29 degrees and sunny, but my girlfriend is away and she has an ear infection too, probably due to stress, so although I can't grumble, bit worried about her.

Man, you guys have to step it up.
My crap week.
1) had big toenails cut off (ingrown from shite fitting ski boots)
2) 2 hours later, had old amalgam filling replaced. Face still hurts.
3) 8 hours later son fell out of tree and broke arm. 7 hours in hospital.
4) Next week wife gets an endoscopy cause she's been puking every day for a month.
5) Put new shifter cable on bike, but for some reason I put grease on it first. Now it's as useless as a poop flavoured lollypop.
6) Did I mention my jock itch? And the rain. And the fact I work tonite from 4:30 to midnight. And wife's at work, so I'm home alone with drugged-out seven-year-old boy (see item#3)
So how's your week going?
