I've had a cyst on my back for about 9 years, I'd lance it just for fun if I could only see it.

This is exactly what friends, video cameras, ad YouTube are for!

Get on with it... And don't forget to post the vid on here!

Hahaha

Quality rant Em. 😀

Haven't been running all week, got a sprained ankle, apparently I'm becoming a bit needy...

loling at the fake tan, I went to a wedding once and had really bad shorts tan line, and the skirt I was wearing was shorter...so 10 mins later I had fake tanned my thighs with one of those really crap ones... the difference was really bad, looked like I had multi coloured legs!!

for stress busting, punch husband instead of telly woman?

I had a hangover on Saturday. I spent Sunday morning cleaning the house, including the bogs and then didn't wash my hands properly before lunch so I had diarrhoea on Monday. Got out Monday afternoon on the road bike, it was lovely. Got sunburned later. Rain on Tuesday then endured another round of insults from my wife. Woke up at 02:30 today and couldn't get back to sleep. Had to get up at 05:15 anyway to go to meet somebody at the airport. Now in the office feeling like shite.

So apart from Monday afternoon it was a crap weekend.

Read touching the void, imagine being stranded on mountainside with a horrendously broken leg, are your troubles 'that' bad?

I was about to come on and complain about working sunday monday tuesday, but I feel guilty now. I really feel for you, can imagine what you're going through and trust me it will get better.

There's a reason why it all happens but we just don't know why, yet.

Nick, that's genuinely bad news. Sounds as if you knew it was coming, so perhaps it wasn't a total shock.

Doesn't really make it any better though.

nothing I can say to lighten anyone's moods here without coming across over positive and a touch soppy.

But so share my lifes woes..

I had to wear a suit and spend the day at Epsom races, Derby day in a hospitality marquee watching spoilt rich kids and wealthy business people cheer for a horse to be whipped for 3 mins...

And next week I have two days in Peckham....

the absolute last thing you should ever do to someone who's on a proper downer (and any counsellor in the world will tell you this), is remind them just how bad others have it. OK, to be fair some of your moans can be seen as very trivial (but I took them in the light hearted manner you intended), but things do add up. If someone is so genuinely down that they can't work their way out of it, no matter how hard they try, and some self righteous tosspot comes out with "at least you're not dying of aids or starvation in Africa", it can send people over the edge.

...washer...vibrating like traction engine...

I heard most ladies viewed that as a plus point? In fact I thought the usual installation procedure was 'remove one foot, leave can of touch up paint for the top corner'. 😆
