Did it work ?
I have a Silvercrest special Go Pro copy and it's fogs up in the dome area.
I never use it in water so a hole will not be a problem.
Pondering a copy of 5mm holes on each side or maybe the top.

Cant see why it wouldn't work,go pro send them with a back plate with holes in.
