Yep I've been. Enjoyed it alot but I stayed in the nearby Karkonosze mountains and only visited Wroclaw for a couple of days. A lot of historic buildings in the centre. Can't advise if you would like it or not though as it depends what you're looking for.
I've been for a night, on the way back from milan one time(cheapo ryanair magical mystery tour!), good night and a nice city centre. cheap as chips. I was blotto mind so a bit hazy, would like to go back though.
Never been but heard it's the 'new Prague', IE, cheap & interesting.
