I currently have the 'free' bit but am thinking of upgrading to premium so i can listen to a lot more songs on my iphone offline as it only has 16gb

So my question is with me, my mrs and the two kids, can we all use my login on different laptops and a pc not necessarily at the same time but from different places i.e. work, friends house, train etc?

Does the premium mean as many listens and/or downloads as you may want in a month? Or are there usage limits?

Is the £10 a month worth it?

Has anyone got any eperiences of it? Thoughts?

Yes you can log in from different places, but not necessarily at the same time. Though on the iphone if you enable offline mode would can listen to downloaded tracks on your phone and stream on a pc at the same time.

You also get better sound quality and the ability to use a sonos if that concerns your.

Worth it? To me yes absolutely.

You can log in to your spotify account at any time any where. With a premier account you can be logged in at several locations simultaneously however only one location will play music at one time. ie. playing music at one location will stop the play back at other locations.

Athough you can always just have another free account for listening in two places at once if you want (just not on two phones of course, and you have to put up with ads on the free one).

Is worth it for me as I signed up for Premium in the UK before leaving, so I now have access across the pond.

The offline playlist feature on the iPhone is very useful as well - I use that instead of the ipod these days. It's handier for me as I HATE iTunes and I can change the music on the phone without plugging it into the computer.

so i can listen to a lot more songs on my iphone offline as it only has 16gb

But when you make a playlist available offline, it does store it on your phone - maybe it uses less storage space than an ipod, but I wouldn't have thought by much.

I've just upgraded from free to premium when the sonos support was launched.
Must say that the sonos inteface is rather pants. You have to search rather than browse, so I have ended up using the iphone or desktop interface to find what I want to look for, marking it as starred, then going to the starred playlist on the sonos to listen to it as its quicker than using the sonos controller to search for tracks or artists.
Having multilple devices logged in is ok but only one can play at one time- you get paused and a message flashes up, you can restart straight away though so I assume that pauses the other device- could lead to battles amongst users!
For that reason my daughter has her own free account with ads for her PC.
I haven't bought any music since I upgraded so in theory it is paying for itself
