just picked up my TV after repair at a well known, very reputable, supplier
It has significant damage to it's face with two areas badly scratched. Each on the front face of the TV, 38" (97cm) apart. Does this correspond to any standard FLT spacing that would be used in an electrical warehouse?
Just trying to get some info for when I take it back and have it out with them tomorrow
"Why" is an irrelevance, surely. "It's damaged, sort it out."
If you really care I can measure ours on Monday. No idea whether there's a standard though.
Flt forks aren't fixed so unlikely to prove much.
Indeed, Cougar.
Down to them to provide a replacement of at least equal spec, probably they'll have to give me a much better one.
You can adjust the spacing (at least in all the one I have driven) so not sure standard is a thing.
There are a mass of ways I can destroy something when moving it around stabbing it with the tines is just one ๐
Otherwise what cougar said. It's damaged doesn't matter how.
Yeh as above.. The forks are generally adjustable.
Most will be set up for whatever size pallets they have most of. There are a few different standards.. it sounds could easily be the culprit given the dimensions but they can be adjusted in seconds.
New 4K TV being delivered on Tues.
By forklift truck?
Bloody EU, forcing thier weird pallet standards on us.
