I've always quite liked the look, but don't know anything them as an ownership proposition: bargain or damn liability?

Never owned one, but
seems very likely.damn liability
I think the V8 is slightly less ruinous than the V12, but both can cost thousands to put right especially for the horrendously complex electrical systems.
