Ordered something for next day delivery on Wednesday.
Discovered a red note on my doorstep [s]Tuesday[/s]* Thursday saying "We'd tried to deliver". I was in and no-one rang the bell. It said on the back of the note it would be ready for collection 24 hours later at my local sorting office.
Went to the sorting office this morning, 25 hours after the "attempt" to deliver, to be told it wasn't back in, and it should be there tomorrow. My sorting office is only open 7-2pm weekdays, and 8-12 on a weekend. I've better things to do than wait in a que for over an hour on Saturday to collect my item, and have paid for delivery, so why can't they actually sodding deliver it?!
Making a complaint feels totally fruitless as they don't give a crap. Short of nuking my sorting office from orbit, is there anything that can be done to sort this useless bunch of halfwits out?

normally, if you get the card and no attempt to deliver it's because the van was full and the parcel never left the sorting office so I'm surprised it's not there, tbh.
maybe they give the card for stuff stuck at the hub so they can say they fulfilled their contract and tried to deliver 'next day' even though there was never any chance they would...
been waiting for a few things this week which hasnt been a problem due to the present unempolyed satus, but from past experience I now believe pracel force have some sort of spy sat watching everyone, and as soon as i pop out to the shop they rush round and 'try' to deliver. I have also noticed that if sending stuff via different post offices the price changes in some cases by a few quid, which makes my blood boil as it has been the same item in the same jiffy bag +/- 5grams 😡
i got a card thru the box a few weeks ago and was told they didnt have it so come back after about 3 return trips they said oh its probably gone back to sender its quite common so speak to them
problem is i dont know what it was or where it came from so im stuck with a card and no parcel and no one gives a hoot ;-(

liker ive said before caught the postman shoving a card through my door so asked for my pressie, he said he hadnt brought it as he knew i would be out, so perhaps i should go to the office next day and pick it up.
Royal mail fail customer service number is 08457 740 740, the most stupid and idiotic call handling system ever, try it and see to report a missing or stolen parcel.
Royalfail lack any kind of organization or proper leadershpi/management, I for one could do without the hassle, but I don't blame the posties!
Strange coincidence I just got handed a card dated yesterday ever though I was in 😯 handed card at 11:40 depot closes at 12, got there at 11:57.
My new phone that I need for my alarm system, my new trainers that I need for the weekend and also my chain ring to finish off my bike, Recieved 5 packages in all ❓ not good!
