The mrs is working in china at the mo, and she says ipads are silly cheap,if I get one wil it work ok here or will it be all in Chinese, I've heard apple warranty is worldwide so not worried about that, but can you set the language like on a phone and load the latest o.s, from iTunes, or even just synch it to my iTunes account ?

Can't see what the issues would be. They have global warranties and the power supply is no issue either, it's probably more down to how you get it home.
