I've got a Ulefone Armor 5 running Android 8.1 (?) and the screen is occasionally a bit mad - press one on screen button and a few others think they have been pressed too, makes passwords especially tricky!
I fixed a similar problem on an iphone 6 with DFU mode, but it doesn't seem to be so clear cut with Android, too many differing opinions.
So, can someone recommend me an idiots guide to doing the deepest firmware reset possible? I've rebooted it which helped for a short time, I think I need to connect it to my laptop for the next level of messing, but I'm finding MEGAsync less than intuitive...

You may have some reset options under Settings->System.
