Are there any good alternatives to Ebay for sellers. It has been a long time since I've sold anything on there and the fees put me off.

Normally try and sell things on here but there are a few bits and pieces I know will sell if I get wider audience as they are generic, not biking related.

Only got a few items, DVDs, books etc.

Gumtree?
Facebook selling pages?

Not tried either personally.

Gumtree? Sold a lawnmower on there a couple of weeks ago. Looked at finished prices on ebay and stuck it on for the average, sold it the next day with no fees.

Gumtree can be good but the timewaster factor can be huge- more pointless enquiries, more no-shows...

Ebay fees are annoying but it gives you access to such a huge market, if it's something postable, i'm comfortable that my sale prices go up by more than the fees.

Gumtree or Facebook for collection only, low value items. If you want good money then it has to be ebay.

Gumtree. Sold a bit of stuff (usually large items for pick up) on there with no bother, or fees.
Given up up with selling on Fleabay.
